2. Hemp Hearts

These have 16g of protein per 50g. The shelled seeds of the hemp plant are delicious as a snack or added to your morning breakfast bowl.

3. Pumpkin Seeds

These are great for snacking on, and they have 8g of protein for every 50g, one of the highest found in any seeds.

4. Nutritional Yeast

Has a huge amount of 25g of protein per 50g. It is great added to shakes and smoothies to really up your daily protein content.

5. Dulse

This sea vegetable is great added to savory dishes like soups and salads, and it has 16g of protein per 50g.

6. Chlorella

This is a type of algae, and also touted as a ‘superfood’. It has 29g of protein per 50g and is also full of vitamin A, calcium and iron.

7. Spirulina

This is another algae based food that is known as a ‘miracle food’. It is super high in protein – 28g per every 50g and is high in vitamin K, potassium, magnesium – great for detoxes!

8. Cacao Nibs

Cacao nibs can be bought from most good health food shops, and are a great addition to your kitchen. They have 7g of protein per 50g and are great in sweet treats like peanut butter smoothies or in hot chocolate.

9. Flax Seeds

10. Tahini
